Modern media facade - topped by the flying pool in pure glass
The initial remodeling work has begun. The new refuges should be ready for the next winter season. The corridors are being redesigned and will offer abundant space for large artworks and sculptures, which will be illuminated by a separate lighting and suspension system.
The facade of the ELIZABETH, now still in Alpine style, is also being redesigned. The new Suite & Arthotel will be given a simple, clean architecture with rectilinear balconies. The facade will reveal contemporary media esthetics in Alpine tourism for the first time. The balconies can be used as large, elongated medial exhibition showcases for the new Arthotel. The media facade will then become a mirror of the village: during the daytime the quiet counterpart to the mountain, in the evening an exciting antipole to the powerful architecture o the new 3S cableway.
